Aulona International Folk Festival

The Platform of "Aulona International Folk Festival" has been drafted and taken over as Project implemented by the Cultural Center " Southern Nightingales", which acts as a legal, private and non-profit entity, licensed by the decision of the Court Nr.6, dated 28 .12. 1999, with headquarters in the city of Vlora.

The festival will take place under the jurisdiction and responsibility of the Cultural Centers having partnership relations with the Municipality of the City, in the territory of which carried, but with other institutions interested in local and central government.

The festival will be organized and run by a staff of people to the broader domain of culture and folklore, both inside and outside the city of Vlora, which will contribute to the realization of components such as the artistic direction of the festival, , preparation stage, libretto, and accompaniment, accommodation etc.. So that meant for the management of Festival activated a working staff with about 50 people.

Why is selected Vlora?

Vlora,from the nature and geography, is one of the cities most suitable for the development of cultural and artistic activities in Albania.

Media

The festival will be open to all local and central media, as will be presented to the public in the local network from Amantia TV and TV Apollon, and national media supporter will be TV Vizion +.

How will be organized the Festival?

Aulona International Folk Festival with the participation of folk ensembles from different countries of Europe and beyond, will be the direct source and traditional nature.
